The Western Region of Ghana has churned out a lot of amazing talents such as Gyedu Blay Ambolley, Castro, Kofi Kinaata and many more. To continue the legacy of the “West-side” a new musical gem named Jaynysongz has strung out.
David Nelson Abu is the real name of Jaynysongz. He was bornand bred in Tanokrom a suburb of Takoradi.
He discovered his musical talents while he was in Primary school class 5, as he sang other people’s song and freestyles.
Blessed with powerful vocals, Jaynysongz added songwriting to his talent in 2009. He began to write his own songs and started taking music as a career rather than a hobby.
His first studio session was done with celebrated record producer King of Accra (worked with Sarkodie and many others).
It hasn’t been an easy journey for Jaynysongz, but he took time away from mainstream music to learn the musical trade and perfect his art.

After a decade of experimenting to find himself and his craft, Jaynysongz is finally ready to show the world who he really is.
Speaking to Jaynysongz, he revealed, “I want to create a great awareness of love through my music to change the world.”
“I want to show my generation you can be whoever you want to be, if only you don’t stop doing great things even from a small beginning.”
Jaynysongz is set to announce his re-entry with a major project that we can only describe as ‘Amazing’.
